Parallely to our precious dyes, we also develop the UGIEL-X and UGIEL-T series.

Still only based on only nobe metals, these dyes have the property to be sensitive to UV-rays or temperature-rise exposure. The contact with such stimuli then causes a irreversible colour change.

 

UGIEL-X series : UV-sensitive

 

In the following example, 6 dyes of the UGIEL-X series have been dispersed in a nail-polish base.

The left picture displays the 6 nail polishes before exposure to UV rays, whereas the right picture displays the same polishes after exposure.

The colour changes are more or less pronounced and/or fast, depending on which precious dye has been used.

 

 

 

UGIEL-T series : Thermochromic

  

In the following example, a precious resin containing a dye of the UGIEL-T series.

The top left picture depicts the control sample, that has not been exposed to a temperature rise. The 5 other pictures show the evolution of the colour as a function of temperature. All exposure times have been the same.
